Acquire the skills to navigate Ethical Dilemmas and make informed choices in your coaching practice.

Join us for the CCAR© CPD accredited Ethical Considerations for Recovery Coaches training and take a significant step towards becoming a professional in the field. As the demand for peer-to-peer recovery support services continues to rise, it is crucial to address the ethical considerations that surround this important role. Our comprehensive 16-hour training, based on the Ethical Guidelines for the Delivery of Peer-based Recovery Support Services, will equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the ethical landscape effectively.

Ethical Foundations for Recovery Coaches

During this training, we will delve into various areas essential for recovery coaches, including defining the coaching service role and functions, coaching standards, issues of vulnerability, ethical decision-making, performance enhancement, and legal matters. Through engaging presentations, interactive small group work, and realistic role plays, you will gain a deep understanding of ethical responsibilities and how they apply to your work in the peer role.

In response to the growing need for practical experience, we have expanded this year’s training to include an additional half-day, providing ample opportunities for you to practise using real-life scenarios you may encounter in your daily work as a recovery coach.

  • Are you an individual seeking to implement and utilise recovery coaching?

  • Are you an organisation or business interested in utilising and implementing recovery coaching into your services?

  • Are you a peer-to-peer recovery support service provider in need of ethical guidance?
